Pros

Meringue and bread dough are exceptions as they generally only need a scrape down once or twice. I only have one attachment, the sausage-making tool, which grinds meat and fills sausage casing.

This stand mixer is top notch. My only regret is i did not wait for black friday, for it went on sale. If anything goes wrong, amazon has their customers well taken care of.

Cons

Could have burnt my house down. Very disappointing and unacceptable to present as a wedding gift. And the third disappointment is the kichenaid service.

The wire whip is not stainless and must be washed by hand, not in the dishwasher. It is difficult to mix, cannot scrape the bowl with the mixer running. I really doubt that professional chefs and bakers stop every 5 minutes to rest the machine!

I called kitchenaid and they're willing to allow the item to be sent in for service and are upfront about costs.

I pulled this out of the box, looks like the styrofoam was busted before i opened the box.
