Pros

Kitchenaid mixer is a staple in most kitchens. A kitchenaid mixer is hands down the best mixer. Comes with a whisk, paddle, and dough hook.

The mixer is very heavy and doesn't budge on the counter while i'm using it. It is a pretty easy install and gives attachments that extra snug/secure feel. The accessories for the mixer make it more and more useful.

Cons

The kitchenaid mixer is not as good as the older models. The wire whip is not stainless and must be washed by hand, not in the dishwasher. Mine gets hot after 5 minutes of mixing while my moms only gets slightly warm after 20 minutes.

Very very disapointed. This is extremely frustrating! Horrible experience" "tried the support website.

At the highest position it sounds and looks like it's about to explode. Stopped spinning 3 months out of warranty. Needs a new motor armature, bracket, and brushes.

Rather than just allow an exchange of the defective $20 attachment amazon gave me a return auth for the entire mixer.

It’s just a shame that they’re so expensive.

I experienced the same issue that some others have mentioned - i couldn't get the bowl out of the mixer when it arrived.

Competitiveness

Because amazon had no replacement attachment made by them, only those from other vendors on amazon.

The tilt head is better than the other style.
