Pros & Cons
Pros
The bowl is removable for easy cleaning. Cup cleans easily with a bottle brush and soapy water.
Kitchenaid bcg111ob is a worthwhile investment for coffee enthusiasts. Grinded coffee super fast and much less noise than with my braun machine. The grinding noise is lower by comparison to my old cuisinart. Very nice blade grinder.

Should not trust on this product's rating of more than 4! They are waaaay better! Spills a way much product and is messy to clean. Very disappointing, did not expect such quality from kitchenaid.
Not good for grinding spices. Lacks visible measurements inside the grinder to ensure a consistent amount for my 14 cup pot.
Kithenaid grinder is messy, not very good at grinding and is now broken with 1 year. Leaks around the edges when grinding, makes such a mess. Grind is inconsistent. And grindsbfall out.
Highlights
Quality
Works great and i have multiple tops - one for coffee, one for my dehydrated goods to powder and one pungent spices.
Grinds coffee beans and is well made.
As far as unground beans or chunks i have never seen this with 17 second grind for drip 8 cup bean level.
I'm not sure why some people say it overflows, this should never happen unless you fill the cup past it's maximum capacity.
Price
This product is excellent and very affordable as giftable.

A bit on thé pricy side, but is a good quality coffee grinder.
