Jar spatula is great for pancakes and thick heavy pancakes. Works well for dishing thicker dishes like lasagna. Great for making sandwiches or pancakes or the griddle. Heat resistant to 450f.

The spatula is so long and sturdy, it doesn't bend, which makes it a plus to pick up the dessert and lay it on a plate.
The handle finally snapped and i was more than happy to replace it with kitchenaide again.
This is an upgrade in that structurally it is much stronger and firm.
