Pros

Easy to install with only minor pipe adjustments. Extra sound insulation means it's a bit wider than most other disposals. My plumber was impressed also and may well now start recommending kitchen aid disposal units.

This disposal is very quiet. It's so quiet. Runs super quiet.

The unit is powerful, but also the quietest i've use. It is quiet and thoroughly grinds up food. It takes anything you can dish into it and has a soft purr-like noise.

Cons

This garbage disposer is much more noisy. Whirlpool has bought most of the quality companies in the usa just so they can ride their good names, cheapen their products all for higher profits.
