Pros

I love that it's multifunction. It's cordless & it has multiple purposes. It can be charged with a jackery explorer 500 and several 100w solar panels.

Easy enough to add water. Fast and my tasks lasts many days charges. There's a knack to it that i don't yet have.

This makes the creamiest, smoothest soups ever. It actually works - without sloshing your soup everywhere. Can't beat kitchen aid products.

Comes with a handy cup and matching lid to keep things fresh. Attachments fit well. The whisk attachment is nice. I wish it had a whisk, which was in the photos when i bought it, but, i'll live.

Cons

Do not buy. I do a ton of canning and it could not even purée my cooked tomatoes! The mix function is very touchy and if one raises the device slightly off the bottom it tends to splash out of the pot.

The battery stays charged for me for more than a week, even with daily use.

Having usb charging would add to the cost of the unit, but it would add a whole lot of convenience to the entire user experience.

Great product from a great company at a great price!

After another couple of weeks, i made peace with the idea of paying $50-some-odd dollars for a corded ka immersion blender.

For the price i paid for this with 'all' of the accessories advertised in the description, i expect to receive 'all' of the accesories.

I contacted kitchenaid and they promptly sent out the missing protective pan protector.

However it is missing the protective pan protector as shown in photo.

Competitiveness

Bought another brand but it did not fit in my 30 oz yeti rambler.

Since i have a ka stand mixer and some other ka small appliances, i know firsthand that i cannot go wrong by purchasing this brand.
