Competitiveness
Kitchen aid used to be an amazing company and i thought they made their stuff in the usa.
Unfortunately to keep up with the competition they have had to ship off production to china.

I would not recommend holding it in the air because i think it puts too much pressure on the handle and that is what is probably causing the breaks of reviewers have mentioned
