Pros & Cons
Pros
I usually buy cheap, but they always break too fast or rust and since this was on sale, i decided to go for it. I think that it will fit the bill quite nicely.
The plastic container snaps onto the bottom so no worries of mess or leaking. Especially how it comes with the catch container and lid to store extra shredded cheese.
This cheese grater collects the cheese into the container right while you are grating it. No more worries about names of foods like cellulose in your grated cheese. Used primarily to shred cheese and some vegetables.
Cons
Heed my warning. This is not an upgrade, it is a poor replacement which will cause unneeded kitchen mess and frustration. The veggies are not cut off.
Highlights
Quality
It works very well but i removed one star as it is large and was challenging to find a place to store it.
It has been very easy to wash up by hand, with some soapy dish water and a sponge.
No more grating cheese onto a plate or paper towel and then having to put leftover cheese into another container or bowl etc.
My old standby grater, in one of the enclosed photos with the new one, finally cracked the plastic frame.
Price
Overall, for the price, it was a great purchase and one i should have made years ago.
Packaging/appearance
The included container has kept shredded mozza beautifully fresh for 2 days, i have no idea if it will keep longer than that.
Comes with a container to grate the cheese into so that you don't make a mess all over your counter.
