Pros
The four stainless steel knives are far heavier than our older rosewood-handled knives. Kitchenaid is a name i've come to trust, from their mixer, microwave, espresso machine. I love that they are one solid forged piece of stainless steel.
These are my go-to knifes. The serrated edge means never having to sharpen them. After over a decade of use, my first was unfortunately nicked.
Perfect for daily use or occasional slicing. It slices and cuts very easy and nothing stick to the blade. Sliced through beautifully.
These are pretty much my go-to everyday steak knives. Very sturdy set of 4 steak knives, from a well known manufacturer.

Cons
These have not been washed in a dishwasher. The stainless steel alloy is not good, whatever it is. After just one wash, they already have specks of rust starting on them.

I've been using them for over two years, washed in a dishwasher, and they still are decently sharp and spotless.
Price
At $26 / 4 they are comparatively pricey (-1 star), but, as mentioned, two years of everyday use and they are still going strong.

These are japanese steel the others were german

The main difference is that the german blades are lighter in weight and have a different feel and grip to them
