The knives are made out of a single piece of forged steel with the handle and knife being one and the same.
Each one is one is made of a solid piece metal instead of with separate wood or plastic handles.
Price
I definitely think it’s a good value for the price.
For the price, you get (almost) every piece to stock your kitchen, and they work well.
This should be around $80 at most.
I would not have paid the current price listed ($130) if i had seen this set on display at a store.
Shipping
The package itself took a long time to arrive but definitely worth the wait.
Packaging/appearance
The box they came in was packed really well and there was no damage to the knife block as well as the knives and scissors.
It came nicely packaged, has a beautiful silver wooden sturdy block, and my favorite.
If you want to know what’s in the box, the image from the side is what’s actually in this set.
The kitchenaid logo on the front looks much better in the listing!

Having gotten used to using cheap knife sets for most of my early life i decided to try out a popular brands knife set.
I really like the kitchenaid brand products, and this knife set is no different.

As with any set there are some pieces that dont get so much action but the star is definitely the santoku knife which will handle just about anything you throw at it
