Thermometer has a nice long stem for inserting into what you are cooking. This seems sturdy and well-made. The simple layout and finish make it easily sterilized.

The roundness of the dial itself is so large that it doesn't fit well in my drawers. It is big and bulky and bends. Didn't work, right out of the packaging.
