Pros
Kitchenaid gourmet multifunction can or bottle opener is great. It blows away any 2 dollar can opener. I believe at age 65, i'll never have to purchase another can opener in my lifetime.
Cons
They are non functioning. Had to finish opening can with a hammer and screwdriver.
Not happy at all with kitchen aid. Who designs this junk. The downside is there are quality issues. It brings into question both the quality and inspection of the item.

I am very pleased with this can opener.

The price is great for a name brand item, usually these go for more money in the local stores.

I any even it was quite an unnecessary wrestle to finally get 4 cans opened sufficiently to get the respective contents into a couple of containers

Yes i had to glue one of the plastic handle covers on

It was loose as several other reviewers have said but i can handle 2 cents worth of superglue to get a good can opener
