Just put the wings down and turn the top handle counterclockwise and the cork is removed

My favorite feature is the cork capturing wings which hold the cork once removed so you merely unscrew the cork screw and the cork falls out

It is excellent when other corkscrews broke or cracked the cork it pulled the broken corks out and released the cork as well yes the broken one from another corkscrew damage

To remove the cork from the screw all you have to do is hold the device and turn the screw handle backwards and the cork is unscrewed
