Over the years, the quality has gone down, the pans have become lighter weight and do not heat as evenly.
The pan is heavy bottomed and substantial.
Price
Such a nice pan and a great deal on prime day.
So i have pretty much stopped buying them because the prices have not fallen with the quality.

I have had this now for 4 months and it looks like it did when it came out of the packaging.
Came out of the box looking well made.
I did not expect to like this as much as i did when i first took it out of the box.
Competitiveness
I've always thought of kitchen-aid as a discount store brand and never paid it much mind compared to the cephalon and all-clad cookwear.
Overall, this is another five star product from kitchenaid.
I have to admit that i am a bit of a brand snob when it comes to cooking equipment.
