Pros & Cons
Pros
Who knows how long this one will last without flaking off. This works perfectly--as you'd expect, because it's genuine kitchenaid gear.
Cons
The description for the dimensions is incorrect. It's roughly around 6 inches or so, which is incompatible with my mixer. Really disappointed.
Highlights
Quality
Sturdy and works perfectly with a kitchenaid.
Perfect product, sturdy, fits my artisan mixer.
I've made several yeast-dough breads, and this both mixed the ingredients and kneads it.
From then on it is an endless battle to get rid of the black sooty oxidation and keep it off your bread dough.
Price
Just what i needed, great price and flawless deliivery.
I wanted to get the kitchen aid brand replacement dough hook and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't over-priced.
Competitiveness
I trust the brand name rather than the knock-offs.
