Pros

Sturdy, easy to clean, indestructible (almost), fits nicely inside my 5 qt bowl. Fits very nicely in the dishwasher and that’s the real game changer! Great quality at a fair price.

Swiss meringue buttercream recipe (best frosting ever) is from the preppy kitchen. They make an effortless double boiler.

Cons

The part where the bowl attaches to the mixer is too big on my mom's old mixer. There is a pronounced hump in the bottom of the bowl that caused the mixer's attachment to break. Very disappointing and dangerous.

Packaging/appearance

So, i was dismayed when i read the box this bowl came in that it was manufactured in china.

My kitchenaid mixer did not come with the accessory bowl, so i purchased this one and am not disappointed.

Competitiveness

Bought this to replace the glass bowl included with mixer bought at costco.

Also i put it straight in the fridge since it takes less space than the original ka mixer bowl that came with it.
