I received this as a gift and while i overall love the brewer, i am disappointed in some of the quality.

I'm sticking with the 4 star rating for my original reasons.

The bodum was plastic and discolored, also it brewed for a shorter time.

Recently the seal is not sealing as it used to, and the vacuum seal that assures it gets sucked back into the pot isn't so solid.

I have a moccamaster that i love, and this vacuum brew setup.

I replaced a bodum electric with this one.

It's a bit more than removing a k-cup.
