Pros

Great coffee maker but the carafe is practically impossible to replace. The pot pours perhaps the best of any pot i have ever had. It takes a little longer to brew but using the auto feature allows us to brew the coffee so that it is ready when we wak... Read More

While it is plastic it has that “suede’ look to it. I do like the design-looks like their mixer which we also have. I'm proud for people to see it on my counter and i'm thankful i have it.

Water reservoir is removable. Wire filter basket is easy to remove and clean, although you could use cone paper filters as well. Gold-mesh filter works great.

Easy to program and has the great feature of automatic shut-off. It is a bit frustrating but we now know to check it regularly.

Cons

Hot plate makes an irregular but loud and incessant clicking sound! I'm 66 with undoubtable hearing loss and this is bugging the heck out of me 25 feet away. Once the coffee brews, the heat automatically shuts off.

The only ones i found are on ebay but the cost is close to $40.

Only dislike is after the brew it needs to sit 2 minutes to finish dripping into the pot.

Replaced a cuisanart, glad i bought it.

I wish this machine had been available when we bought our breville precision brewer, it’s just as good for a fraction of the price.

The only things it lacks are some brewing modes in the more expensive models.
