The front face feels like thin sheet of formed metal foil applied over plastic that has wavy surfaces with moldflow problems. The handle also looks and feels very cheep. Why does the mode knob exist?

I absolutely despise this toaster oven. To summarize, the new oven pretty much looks like a cheap peace of $#|+ made in china.

It takes forever to get up to toasting temp. It goes from not toasting at all to completely burning the bread, so there is the tiniest of a sweet spot. The heating & toasting are both so inconsistent.

Problem traced back to the selector switch. I have to stand by and make sure nothing burns or catches fire! I am no electrician, but i believe the issue is the coil.

It's as bad as folks say.
