Pros

It feels very classy and is a joy to use. Aesthetically beautiful, easy to use, and sturdy. Looks great on the counter.

This is much quicker and feels like 3-5. It heats water quickly. Heats water up fast.

It heats up quicker than the stove top kettle for me. It also heats up to 200 degrees and doesn’t miss the mark compared to my stovetop kettle. It heats a full pot of water in about 3 minutes.

Cons

The pour control is more of a gimmick and not necessary. It takes 30 years to heat up, when swiftness is half the appeal of an electric kettle.

It’s nice but expensive for hot water.

If i hadn't thrown out the box i would have returned it and got the one she purchased locally regardless of how cute this one is.

Competitiveness

I used to have a bodum but this kitchenaid is way better.

This costs double what it's nearest competitor costs, so it has to be perfect.

I tried buying the same brand as the one i had, but it was not available anymore.
