Pros

Kitchenaid 8 qt mixer is on par with commercial mixers. Powerful to assemble cookie dough. Only trouble is that it doesn't get the dough on the bottom as well as my smaller 4.

The quality craftsmanship and quality of materials is rare. Would not use any other brand. She just loves it and it is a durable product. I was also impressed by the metal-heavy design and build quality.

Cons

The beater and other attachment simply do not get close enough to the bowl, so you have to scrape bowl during mixing. The motor is far louder and feels like there's a lag time before it starts. Kitchenaid is better than this to send out an obviously f... Read More

I love kitchenaid appliances so this one is very disappointing. None of them reach the bowl.
