Pros
Kitchenaid food processor is great for those of us with limited storage space in the cabinets. Mashed cauliflower with super smooth and creamy. Diced up 2 lbs of carrots in no time.
The * can be pushed/loosened/maintained down and this modifies the intensity. The lid design on this newer processor seems more user friendly.
Cons
This model is lighter (maybe due to an electric motor that isn't up to the task) and despite being billed as a large capacity model simply cannot handle mundane tasks. It bounces violently and has to be held down (hard) while it is on. Third, and perh... Read More
This is the worst kitchenaid product i’ve ever had. Chopping is very uneven. Slicing cabbage for coleslaw was a nightmare.
Customer service is not better than their devices. Of course the warranty blows so kitchenaide got me again.

Nothing wrong with the 4 cup just needed a bigger bowl.
I bought this food processor to replace our finally worn out kitchenaid food processor - what i think was the predecessor to this product.
I would, hands down, go with the kitchenaid.
Based on first use i would not buy this again, however getting comfortable with the machine may change my mind.

You cannot go wrong with kitchenaid brand.

I had to stop it to scrape the side of the bowl and to break up the big pieces at least 6 times

It never bogged down and stopped but it just kept spinning and not moving the nuts around

I put the same amount of peanuts in the kitchenaid and started it also on high
