Pros

This grinder attachment works great and is fast if you know how to use it! Great little grain mill attachment for our kitchenaid stand mixer. Works as well as my old peugeot grinder. I have one of the newer, and cheaper model kitchenaid 4.

It does a fantastic job. It comes with a brush tool that also works as a screwdriver to take it apart. Taking it apart would be a major undertaking. Overall it's a keeper.

Cons

This mill is good if you only want to make cracked grain or something like corn mill, but it will not grind wheat berries into a fine flour. As stated in other reviews, it grinds really slow. All i use this for now is pre-cracking wheat prior to runni...  Read More

Quality

Easy to use and is super sturdy

The all-metal construction gives me confidence in its durability and ability to handle tough grinding tasks.

Attaching and detatching the mock takes seconds.

Because this sits protruding from the base your bowl to catch the flour doesn’t even sit flat in the counter and because there’...  Read More

Price

(we spent $170 a few months ago on an independent site and in a bundle with other goods; it's a chunk.

We would gladly pay more now we've used both grain mill and flaker several months.

It was more affordable then buying a separate machine.

As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, i was eager to try making my own flour to save money.

Shipping

Shipping was also really fast considering i am in new zealand

Competitiveness

You better get your share because it won't be there for long.

- comparison mockmill:mockmill is not sold here on az currently.

I've used this a a few times, it definitely gets the job done but i feel like there's a better way.

Professionals should really consider a stand alone mill instead

For the rest of us an attachment means a lower pricepoint the kitchenaid mixer already provides a good engine and less space requirement

We like how storing grains for a year and more is easier while even expensive fresh flour turns meh after mere weeks
