Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to disassemble & clean. Works great although it is a slower process than i thought it would be.
Great for grinding a loaf worth of grain at a time.
Very rewarding to make bread with whole wheat. So far i have milled rice, wheat berries and buckwheat. From cream of wheat for breakfast to cookies, muffins and bread.
Cons
It looks like someone cranked the screws on the front way to tight and caused the stones to grind against each other. Very slow process to grind 1 cup.
There is a far superior option called mockmill by the company who makes komo mills.
Highlights
Quality
But this time, i am very satisfied with this product.
Overall i am happy with the product and it works quite well.
I only use a 1/3 of any bread mix with the ground wheat, otherwise it tastes too much like bran for the family.
Add oil to other liquids then combine with the flour.
Price
I purchased it through amazon and saved shipping because we are prime members and the base price was lower than anywhere else.
Packaging/appearance
If it was left in the fridge this can take several hours.
Competitiveness
Let me address a few concerns listed in other reviews:i would not recommend using on lower end kitchenaid models .
