Kitchenaid no longer sells the replacement part (and teh warranty is only for 1 year anyway), so i am stuck with a useless unit. I'm sure i will give it away and replace when my patience have finally run out.

The speed dial is difficult to turn. The motor, even on high has little torque. The strangest thing is that you can hear the motor running, but the blender simply does not work.

The button isn't super easy to push, so if you're using the blender for more than a minute or two, your hands/fingers get pretty tired from holding down the button. Kitchenaid is almost impossible to contact by phone. The power is less and everything ...  Read More

The connection striped and stopped working. I'm just an idiot that spent $150 on something designed to fail. This product was/is available at cost o for the same price and they have a much better return policy.
