Pros & Cons
Pros
New model is lighter and easier to use. Quiet and smooth. Light enough for mom but heavy enough for whip mashed potatoes.
Kitchenaid hand mixer has variable speed and tool ejection assist. Strong enough to mix some dense cookie dough. Whisk for creams and puddings.
Cons
Perooooo no tiene ni la fuerza ni la potencia suficiente para hacer el trabajo. It has no power and the blades can disengage at any time.
The controls are flimsy, there is no solid confirmation that a button is pressed. The * are not intuitive at all.
Highlights
Quality
Impressed by quality, and attachments works fast.
I like all the settings and the release button is fast and removes beaters easily.
I finally got rid of a cheap model after years of subpar use.
Small, light weight and has multiple speeds.
Price
Highly-rated by consumer reports (only the very pricey breville rates higher).
Love thered color and was happy it was offered at a discount during amazon prime days.
I was lucky and got on a good sale.
Competitiveness
After buying a couple mixers to replace a 50 year old oster, and returning them, i decided to spend a little more for a good brand name.
The first speed is nice and slow and doesn’t throw the mix all over the place like the cheaper brands.
