Pros

It is light and i'm not entangled with the power cord. Best feature of all is that it is cordless! It is a little on the heavier side weight wise, but not a problem for the power it has.

It holds a charge for quite sometime (so far for several weeks). Like the charger guage and charges quickly. The battery life is outstanding.

Always a fan of kitchenaid and continue to be with this purchase. One for myself and the other for gifts. I just hope it lasts for years to come!

Cons

Not worth the money and repair of course not covered under warranty. planned obsolescence. They are unbalanced, and unreliable quality control makes this item trash to the normal consumer watching hgtv.

The battery charging indicator shows it's fully charged, but the mixer will not turn on. After being used lightly only about 15 times in less than a year, the plastic unit that holds the beaters in broke on one side, so that beater fell out. My sugges... Read More

Competitiveness

Much better than the corded hand mixers we've used in the past.

I received a different brand as a gift, but it wasn't powerful enough to puree canned sweet potatoes as i wanted.
