Pros

Works very quietly. Also paired with a strong motor. But i think you can purchase that separately if need be.

Kitchen aid mixer is the perfect size for most recipes. The dough is well mixed, soft and tender. The pastry is amazing.

Cons

Kitchenaid's reputation is that their products should last a lifetime. When the mixer completely destroys itself, i would expect the manufacturer to at least meet me halfway. A 2 yr warranty is downright pitiful for the price of their products.

I plan to query kitchenaid support about the issue of speeds. Kitchenaid mixers are no longer the most reliable mixers on the market. I suggest everyone takes care and avoids such products that can be harmful to you or your family's well being.

The attachment just kinda rattles around on the spindle making noise. Imo this change makes the product undesirable for me. Picture shows a spring on the shaft of the beater assembly.

It is grossly under powered and cheaply made. It is really amazing that such a really poorly designed piece of equipment can sell for $200 and get all these stellar reviews.

Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is it was $70 less days after i ordered it.

5 quart model, and it was worth every penny.

I bought it because it was on sale for a steal.

It is expensive so you will have to judge for yourself if that is what you want.

Shipping

Customer service was very responsive and sent a replacement which works very well.

I asked for a delivery with an extra box to avoid to be visible once delivered.

Hopefully i was at home at the moment of delivery, otherwise i would disappeared.

Delivery was quick, on time, and everything arrived in one piece.

Packaging/appearance

It came with a kitchen aid extra box, you could see what was inside.

Competitiveness

It mixes better than others and faster.

I was going to get the artisan due to the power is about 50 watts more powerful than the classic but i just didn't wanna try something new.
