As always, it’s a bit tricky to get out of the packaging, so be careful not to cut yourself if pulling the plastic apart.

Competitiveness
Stands up well when compared to our daughter's more expensive premium brand, and cuts simply and cleanly through our food prep.
If you need a utility knife this is as good as you're likely to find without spending 2-3 times the money.
I prefer the santoku style to a traditional pointed knife, but that’s just me - your preference might be different.
I have other larger kitchen knives which are fine for different jobs, but this compact knife is a 'go-to' when doing general cutting jobs.
