Pros & Cons
Pros
Grade 1 gives mild toasting as expected. Works perfectly fine and gives a good even toasting on both sides. Fits bagels fine.
Cons
The only suggested solution on their website is to plug the toaster/check if the outlet is working. This feels like planned obsolescence. Stopped working after less than 8 months of light use.
The lever often takes 2-3 attempts to stay down. The extra time dries out the bread. In hindsight i think this was refurbished - badly.
Highlights
Quality
They last long and have great settings.
All around beautiful, works great, doesn't look cheap at all.
The toaster levitated, slapped me across the face, sucked my toes and put me into a medically induced coma.
It’s ok, like any other toaster it doesn’t cook even.
Price
It's worth paying a bit more for a dependable kitchenaid product.
Competitiveness
I had cheaper one that i donated and decided to get another kitchenaid toaster.
