Long story short, it works and looks decent. It’s super easy to use! Other than that this is an excellent toaster and i would recommend it.

I have a kitchenaid kitchen and it looks great. I'm not sure if they updated the model, or people were getting knock-offs or what but i love this toaster. It looks absolutely stunning on your counter top though!

Cons

We usually love kitchenaid appliances but as some other reviewers have stated this model is very subpar. Year warranty from kitchen aid, so if it's going to break, it will break by then. Will definitely not be buying kitchenaid again.

Left side no longer heats the element. Right side won't lift the toast and heats irregularly. Terribly uneven toasting.

It toasts well but the latch does not engage and is very frustrating. The levers are sticky and sometimes take 3-4 attempts before they will “catch” and begin toasting.

This toaster will burn your toast on anything higher than shade level 2 or 3.

I tried another cycle, but all that did was totally dry out the muffin and it wasn't much darker.

I had a very old $4 walmart toaster.
