Don't ever hesitate to buy anything kitchenaid. Works well with my 6qt mixer - in the regular bowl and the newer tall bowl. This is the old style that originial came with the k a machines and i think it works much better than the newer corkscrew type.... Read More

The bare-metal pigtail has no diswasher warnings, but it also rinses off easily. The enamel coating helps with sticky doughs and mixes.

Cons

This item is not as pictured. Received a spiral dough kneader instead of a c hook. It's difficult to determine which dough hook will fit your mixer bowl.
