Pros
The oblong shape makes storage easier. Was a good idea though to make better egg * into meringue. Now, back to my perfect mashed potatoes.
Cons
The top of this whisk is aluminum. This item is too big for our 5 qt machine. The attachment fits the head however the mixer will not lock into place.
"this should last more than 2 to 3 years of once a week use" "lasted less than 20 months. Don't buy - waste of money" "shame on amazon.
The whire whip is 1/2 smaller than original. It rubs the sides of the bowl and makes a terrible racket. The foods you are whipping get caught in the middle and you have to stop and dig them out ( creaming softened butter and sugar) this is way too big... Read More

It fits perfect and is great quality.
This is a great quality whip for creams and such and feels very durable
Fit and worked great, broke today mid use.
My original would rub the bowl very harshly, and consequently broke a wire.

Finally paid a lot more money for authentic kitchenaid whisk and am very happy!
Cheap knockoffs at a third the price don’t last.
I say spending almost $700 a year is a little much but she loves the mach.

This 1 came fast so there wasn't any down time for her cookie bake sales for the kids school band thing!
We are deciding if it’s worth sending in the one she wore out last year, or waiting for another sale on the large 6 quart 600 pro.
It arrived quickly and the process to return it was easy to follow.
Competitiveness
This whisk is so much better than the one given with the kitchenaid mixer.
I had ordered 2 different whisks from off-brand companies and, even though they say they fit my size kitchenaid, they did not!
It is hard to find a stainless steel whip for the kitchenaid pro 600 model.
