Pros & Cons

Pros

This rack fills the bill -- it's very sturdy. It is a little on the pricey side but, it is really good quality.

Smaller than my old one but the design holds as much as the bigger one. It is compact, sturdy, had slots for cutlery, something for glasses. Easy to clean plenty of room for a small family.

Cons

This silverware dryer is not deep enough and utensils fall out. The silverware holder is too shallow so the silverware just falls out easily. Stirring spoons, spatulas and knives fall out of the holder. The utensil basket is worthless.

If you're an adult, this rack is a waste of time, money, and full of frustration. This cuts down hugely on the effectiveness.

The bottom tray that came with this rack is much too large for the rack itself. The drain mat is too small. The water tends to pool there instead of flowing down the middle and out the drain spout.

It is too short for any plates to stand vertically in it while they dry. Any normal sized dinner plate always falls over and smashes against anything else that is in the rack.

Quality

Really hygienic it drains all water and it's very sturdy.

Nice heavy duty with plenty of room for utensils.

The front edge mug and glass holders do not slip thanks to the rubber coated large posts.

This is small, but it holds a lot and it's durable.

Price

The other two were not inexpensive and both had to be donated.

Competitiveness

Drainage into the sink works better than i've experience with other drainers.

I had to ziptie the utensil drying rack to the main rack as it moved around and detached too easily

Same with the pieces meant for separating knives

I wanted something to put the hand wash items on to dry

So when i put the knives in there they tip to the side and the grid insert lifts out

Tip for better drainage—i put something about an inch thick under the far end of the drain pan to tilt it slightly so the water drains better into the sink

It sits in a smaller footprint than my old plastic grocery store version yet holds more items more securely

At first i thought the sloped tray would not be long enough but they designed the utensil drain slits to drip only at the inner edge just over the back of the mat
