Pros & Cons
Pros
This lifter is highly recommended for baking. Its chamfered edges on all 3 sides allow you, not only to get under the cookies you need to lift, but to use the side edge to separate the ones you baked too close together. Makes the removal of freshly ba... Read More
It seems solid and well made. It's also a very sturdy one and you can feel it in your hand. It is also pretty stiff, which makes it sturdy. Made very well and durable.
This spatula slides perfectly under things like brownies, cookies, a small piece of pie or cake – or a slice of meatloaf or scalloped potatoes. While it’s shape is not as sharp angle wise as a spatula made to flip eggs or toasted cheese, it does both ... Read More
Multi-use tool does great for eggs and other items. The lifter’s design is sleek and sturdy, with a solid handle that has a smooth transition to its 2” wide head. Love this cookie lifter.
The handle is substantial, and i like how it feels comfortable in my hand with a bit of heft, no flimsiness. The only thing i can think of that might be a problem is that the thick round handle may take up too much room in one's utensil drawer or cani... Read More
Cons
The spatula is already starting to peel and melt on the tip. Had to scrub with several different products and use a scraper to get the melted plastic off.
Highlights
Quality
Still a great product and feels well made.
Its well made, and will get a lot of use in my kitchen!
So far, i have found no kitchen aid products that aren't what i consider to be good quality items.
This tool is narrow and if you try to scoop a larger cookie with it, it will break since it isn't supported fully.
Price
No one is going to mistake this for a cheap knock-off, but it's priced very well so big win!
Packaging/appearance
Although it doesn’t say on the packaging, this lifter (like most kitchenaid tools) is heat-resistant to 450 degrees.
This would make a great shower gift too, in a gift basket!
