Pros & Cons

Pros

The handle is pretty sturdy, though it could be sturdier. It works as described and is very durable. Best quality in the market. Fantastic quality with kitchen-aid.

This screen is easy to use and cleans in the dishwasher. It gets messy but is pretty easy to wash which can be really nice especially when scrubbing tough stuck on stuff. Washing in dishwasher is fantastic.

It does the job well enough that i don't get whacked by hot splashing oil. Really does trap odor and splatters. It really works!

I love that this splatter screen has a liner in it. Other than that, i think this is a decent screen but i think the cost is a bit high though.

No more grease spitting all over the stove. Really traps & holds the grease and won't start to smell. My floors are cleaner now too because the droplets can't make it far enough to make the floor in front of the stove oily.

Cons

This was only been handwashed. It definitely has durability issue. Still works as a splatter guard, but the filter is pretty much done.

Quality

This screen has washed well so far, i put it through the dishwasher at least every other day and so far no problems after two months.

Very good quality and does help prevent odor when frying

This one is more like a mesh metallic fabric and it’s double layered and the holes are tinier so it stops more of the splatter.

After years of use the splatter guard we had finally started coming apart.

Competitiveness

We've tried a few competitor models and this one seems to do the best job of limiting smoke and fumes when cooking in our tiny kitchen.

This helps better than anything i have tried and others are more expensive.

Saw a similar item used on rachel ray to eliminate odors and grease splatters and saw this kitchenaid device that seemed to do the same.

It helps so much more than others we have bought.
