Pros & Cons
Pros

This is manufactured under license by lifetime brands. The end cap says kitchenaid 1919, when the brand started. Solid parts, both showy and functional.
If your hands are greasy from cooking a meal, it may be harder to get a good grip when clamping on the can opener. Smoothly removes the lid and easy to hold in my hand.
Cons
The downside is there are quality issues. It continues to fall off. Very disappointing. Don't buy this can opener.
