This candy thermometer works great! It accurately measures the temperature of what is cooking in the pot on the stove. I like that it can clip to the edge of the pot.

So first time we used it, it went to the 300* hard crack stage.

If using a lipped pan, this thing slides all over everywhere!

Competitiveness

This thermometer is almost identical to the one i purchased from pampered chef.

This one is curved which, to me, gives it even a better rating that the one i currently have.
