Pros & Cons
Pros
It's powered through iced slushie drinks with good amounts of added honey as well as cauliflower soups and purees blended hot from the saucepan with minimal cleaning. The cone-like shape of the cup helps draw the ice down so it doesn’t ride on top of ... Read More
Mine is the shiny red finish. I also like the rubber on the handle so it doesn't slip from your hand.
It does such a good job chopping and blending the ice and frozen berries that preparation takes a fraction of the time and effort than it did using my old blender. Raw blending power remains top class. An extra perk is that it is not as loud as the vi... Read More
It's loud as *, but it's so worth it. It's beautifully designed and easy to use. Powerful and even not too loud. In this case, it works wonderfully.
Cons
The blender is noisy, messy, self clean mode makes a mess and doesn’t get the whole thing. The regular blender is good, but the personal blender broke on the first smoothie. The blade broke of my large blender canister after only 4-5 uses.

I'm skeptical of it though as it doesn't look as tough with the parts being made of plastic.
Packaging/appearance
Another pleasant surprise: the blender pitcher does not drip after pouring the contents into a glass!
Not only does it blend the shhhh out of the ingredients, it comes with a whole separate blender.
Competitiveness
I have always had good luck with kitchenaid products.

Unit works well but you must hold the cup down onto the base unit while it runs or the cup will bounce up causing the metal “driven” part of the coupler on the cup to strip out the teeth on the plastic “driver” part on the base unit rendering the unit inoperable
