Pros

The color is so perfect. A gorgeous dusty blue with a smooth matte finish. She loves it and has not let her down. It is also far less noisy.

Works so amazingly well with the ice cream attachment that is sold separately. These are the best affordable stand mixers on the market. North powder is a must have for any kitchen.

Baking bread on the side, however, has been fine. I frequently bake snacks for the children for when they come down from sunday school.

My ceramic mixing attachments are fully intact and have not chipped yet. The only thing i have had to do is tighten the main screw a single time.

Cons

Just after my warranty expires the stainless steel bowl for this mixer rusted out on me and started to leak! Once one tiny bump is in the tiniest bit free, it will start wobbling, the end result is that the bowl will leave the base and start spinning ... Read More

If i try to do a double batch, it smokes. The attachments flop around while mixing. The motor sounds like it is about to grind to a stop.

I'm frustrated beyond belief. Quit working.

I use my mixer on average 1-2 a week, and have used it for everything from breads, to meringues, cheesecakes, to batters.

The lack of spring has never been an issue for me and the mixing attachments stay in place very well.

The only thing i have had to do is tighten the main screw a single time when it came a bit loose.
