Hold your breath just $4. The center cylinders you are left with also have fun uses. Good storage case as well.
Took it out of the box, read the quick start guide and had instant success. Works great without having fuss or be a pro. This is awesome!
Cons
Kitchenaid used to be known for quality. Now it feels like they have outsourced everything to china. It broke after 3 uses and have been waiting 7 minutes listening to oldies music. It is large & clunky and takes up alot of space.
The food holder needs to be metal not cheap plastic. This attachment is only good with certain vegetables & fruit. No noodle blade included - this item is incorrectly advertised as the ksm2sca.

Overall i am very very happy with this gadget, and see tons of potential.
You have to get creative on what to do with the core, literally half is left.

This is the real deal and worth the price.
Packaging/appearance
In just a minute, the beautiful ribbon of orange potato lay on the countertop.
Made some sweet potato sheets right out of the box (literally), and from those crafted a great vegetarian lasagna, all in minutes.
The low-carb tortillas have wheat, the gluten-free cartitas are high in carbs.
Doesn’t sheet the whole vegetable and eggplant won’t work.

I have tried different sized veggies different speeds sometimes itll miss the vegetable on one rotation then get it on the next
