Quality
Coincidentally, the size and color scheme blend perfectly with the ka.
Thank you kichenaide for another great product!

Price
It's pricey, but considering my old one lasted 19 years, if this one holds up, it will cost me $39.
Shipping
It’s a pain when the actual shipping company shows up earlier than projected and it’s an item that has to be signed for.
Packaging/appearance
It is a wonderful machine and has replaced all of the handwork of mixing and kneading the dough.
Only oddity: the new splash guard that came in the brand-new box didn't fit.
Competitiveness
(it's still running like a champ) i needed something bigger and capable of kneading large amounts of dough.
While it is assembled in the usa, i wish the whole thing was made in the usa.

The plastic cover with a built in pouring trough does seem to be rather fragile to me and it doesnt attach to the bowl as well as it should

It could stand to be redesigned for a better grip on the bowl and thicker material to resist breakage
