Pros & Cons
Pros
It kneads double batches of bread dough and stirs nuts and other add-ins to heavy cookie dough easily. The oster kitchen center still does fine at grinding meat. Comes with manual, huge glossy photo card listing accessories.
Motor hood easily clears standard overhead cabinet clearance. It cleans up fairly easily. It could be a chore to get out and put away for someone who wants to store it out of sight.
The color of sugar pearl is just beautiful. The pearl color is stunning. Frosted pearl color is so pretty and looks so good on my counter.

Kitchenaid has not fixed this issue which it seems some unlucky customers (like me) have had. Bad bad bad, shameful, and bad.
This model has a tendency to break due to misaligned gears. It vibrates noticeably when i turn the speed up beyond the number two. This is appalling and an absolute health hazard.

Shipping
It’s a pain when the actual shipping company shows up earlier than projected and it’s an item that has to be signed for.
Packaging/appearance
It is a wonderful machine and has replaced all of the handwork of mixing and kneading the dough.
Competitiveness
The kitchen aid performed like a champ.
I bought it to replace my 22 year old, 6qt kitchen aid mixer.
Have had a 5qt bowl lift for 35 years and it is only now beginning to make a smell and heat up under heavy sourdough loads.
