Pros

This stand mixer is very quiet and sturdy. The unit is much more quiet than my other model and functionality is great. It is also verytactile.

Three stainless steel attachments and the 8-quart bowl. The attachments are all pro-grade. All the parts are stainless steel make cleaning so easy.

This is my 3rd kitchen aide mixer and i adore it. It replaces a kitchenaid 5 at mixer that is over 25 years old. The mixing paddle really covers the entire bowl well.

Cons

The term commercial is meaningless on this machine. I regret purchasing this unit. The kitchenaid i grew up with is sadly no longer.

There's no way to get the bowl off without either a) disconnecting the whip/paddle or b) tilting the bowl so much that contents spill out. You have to unscrew it and basically drop it into whatever you've just mixed. The whip is so top heavy, that onc... Read More
