Pros
The attachment is very easy to install onto your mixer. The sausage stuffer fills the casings easily and quickly.
Product works as it is supposed too! If lysol can kill covid i think you can use it on your grinder! Should have bought this sooner. Fast on speed settling #4. Fits well and is a long lasting device.
Ground a 14lb brisket in no time. Make sure to use the stuffer in a lower speed, otherwise may smear the fat. One teaspoon of olive oil before meat so it floves smooth.
Cons
Only the plastic parts can be washed in a dishwasher. This attachment needs better sealing at the insert point. For $200 + tax i could get it repaired by an appliance repair person.

Price
By grinding hamberger myself saves 2$ -3$ or more per pound for lean hamberger.
Pricey but you get what you pay for .
Glad i spent the extra money for the stainless steel one.

It arrived in a timely manner and was easy to use.
It took forever and i’m never gonna do it again.
Packaging/appearance
I put it back in the original box as it's the perfect storage for it.
Nice box but not to go crazy about it.

Ive had family go through 200300 dollar grinders and have burn outs and issues but the kitchenaid attachment still chugs along

Also freeze the attachment before grinding for better results

I just finished grinding half a brisket with some short rib after freezing the components i would use for a few hours and it was a joy

Because it was used for meat we wanted to be sure to get it as clean as possible which the dishwasher seemed the best choice
