Pros & Cons
Pros
Kitchenaid roller is great for making lasagna, ravioli, perogis, etc. Can also be used to make lasagna noodles and pierogi. Can be adapted to make egg noodles and noodle dough.
Quality of the roller is outstanding. Well made. Loving it. The roller is so smooth, and helpful.
Cons
There is no pasta roller attachment that will fit the 7 quart model. Rollers on this item are slightly off balance so the pasta doesn't roll evenly.
The attachments have been severely downgraded in materials and thus quality, yet have kept the ka pricetag. I'm not satisfied with this purchase, i feel that amazon has scammed me with this product.
Highlights
Quality
It is very well made, cleans easily and very easy to use.
Long lasting because it is built more durable than older models.
Our original pasta roller broke after 30 years of use!
We disassembled our old pasta maker and were shocked at all the old dough peices inside the case, invisible from outside.
Price
This attachment is pricey but totally worth it.
Worth the cost and time proven company so they’ll be around.

Before we got this we had to take all our pasta down to the river to beat it between two rocks to flatten it out
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
That worked pretty well but the river is a 15 minute walk one way
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Then once you were there you had to find the perfect rock to pound it flat
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
You may ask why we just didn’t use the same rock

So this not only saves us time but keeps those little crunchy pieces out of the pasta

I’m not sure how it does that
