Pros

This pouring shield is a kitchenaid accessory. It is so much better than the pouring shield i had for my older classic kitchen aid mixer. Only objection is that pour shoot is on the right side.

The pour spout is handy. It saves you time and hassle while doing your thing. Making pizza dough and fresh pasta is a whole lot easier.

Cons

Secure-fitting plastic pourer fails to catch on the edge of the mixer bowl. Edge of the bowl is slightly flared.

This pouring shield eliminates the mess of dry pouring into the mixer and i couldn’t be happier with this product.

Some mixers come with the shield ours did not.

Price

Cons: thought the price was very high for a plastic shield, it cost 10% of the price of the mixer!

I think the price is a bit high, but a lot cheaper than getting finger caught.

Shipping

Slow shipping, but once it arrived, it's been put to good use.

But yeah, the mess would go everywhere when first starting out and it's too fast to stay in the bowl.

Bought a knockout brand that advertised said would work on the kitchenaid bowl.

I don’t know why they kitchenaide mixers done come with this one instead of the flimsy one that isn’t secure.
