Quality is good and feels very durable like all my other kitchenaid products have been throughout the years.
Materials feel high quality, pull string feels strong and sturdy, and the grip on the bottom of the base works as advertised.
This didn’t work well and eventually the blades got stuck on an apple piece after about a dozen pulls of the string.
Five to six pulls provides a coarse chop, and a few pulls more creates medium, fine or even pureed consistencies.
Price
For the price and the effectiveness this is great for us!
That said, considering this little powerhouse is only $24.
I do think this is a decent value for the size of this chopper though.

This is a very large food chopper

Its much bigger than the previous ones ive used which were 12 cup size and perfect for chopping a bit of garlic or herbs

Considering this one is nearly 4 cups its much more suitable for making salsa or chopping larger quantities like onions celery bell peppers or apples

Ive used smaller ones and they were really good but this one blows them away because its bigger and more powerful even though its manual
