Pros
This meets that with ease! Easy to wash, just throw in the dishwasher.
It's quite large and that makes it look very heavy, but it fits very comfortably in the hand and tenderizing meat doesn't take much effort with it. The handle is comfortable and it’s not too heavy. Nice heavy mallet.
Cons
This appears to be all metal (not dishwasher safe) but for the black plastic insert on the odious handle. On first use the silver paint started chipping off. Amazon is now aware of this problem.
