Kitchenaid is reliable, durable, and functional. Incredible number of functions. The possibilities are endless. Only one complaint.
The bowl moves up and down to the blade, as opposed to the head that tilts up. The bowl fits securely on the mixer even when kneading dough.

The price was great and my daughter loves it.
I recommend checking all colors because the prices vary.
In the past i had not purchased one of these beauties because the price was too high for me to justify.
Unit which cost me just under $200.

Both are high-quality mixers and, either way, are a great deal at the amazon price.
Got the same thing for a fraction of the cost.
Otherwise you will likely be getting a professional hd model instead.

The only down side is that the whisk doesnt quite make it to the bottom of the bowl so i have to stop everything and scrape it with a spatula halfway through

We were told the viking mixer doesnt have that problem and if we had to start all over again wed probably spend the extra money on that instead
